Fed up of your troopy’s back door shutting on you? Well here’s the solution.
This easy to install Gas Strut Kit will assist in holding open the right hand rear barn door.

Fits most 75 and 78 series Toyota Troop Carriers.

Includes detailed instructions and all the parts you need.

Tools Required

• Tape measure or ruler
• Pencil
• Center punch & hammer
• 5mm HSS drill
• 12mm spanner
• A Waterproof sealant such as SikaFlex is recommended for the two screw holes that must be drilled

Please Note: Installation of this product requires drilling into your car’s body. The struts are intended for holding open a standard troopcarrier door with a stock, steel rimmed spare on it. The force required to hold the door open in an uphill direction is greater than when parked level or with the door facing downhill. Depending on the weight of your door and the angle you are parked on, it may open too quickly. If this is the case, we recommend that you control the speed by hand. Failure to do so may result in damage. If your door is much heavier than stock it may not stay open when parked on a slope or in strong winds. Compatibility depends on any existing modifications.
